Tk'emlúps te Secwepemc CLC Stormwater Detention Facility

The project involves the construction of a stormwater management pond with outfall to the Thompson River. The pond will include a perimeter trail, benches, and signage. Initially, a temporary outfall will be constructed, consisting of an open channel lined with erosion control matting. Later, a permanent piped system will replace the temporary outfall.

October 20, 2023 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Infrastructure Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
