Re-issuing of Environmental Assessment Decision Statement

November 25, 2014 - The Honourable Leona Aglukkaq, Minister of the Environment and Minister responsible for the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency, today re-issued a Decision Statement under the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, 2012 (CEAA 2012) for the proposed Site C Clean Energy Project.

The Decision Statement is being re-issued in order to resolve an error regarding the date of the establishment of the conditions with which the proponent must legally comply.

Prior to re-issuing the Decision Statement, the Minister extended to November 25, 2014, the time limit for the federal government decision.
