Scotian Basin Exploration Drilling Project — Public Comments Invited

November 8, 2016 — Ottawa — Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency

The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency is conducting a federal environmental assessment of the proposed Scotian Basin Exploration Drilling Project, located approximately 230 to 370 kilometres off the southeast coast of Nova Scotia.

The Agency invites the public to comment on the potential environmental effects of the project and the proposed measures to prevent or mitigate those effects as described in a summary of the proponent's Environmental Impact Statement.

This is the third of four opportunities for the public to comment on this project. All comments received will be considered public.
