Dear Mr. McManus,
We write in response to your letter dated July 28, 2017. Please be advised that the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency maintains its position set out in its letter dated July 28, 2017. Furthermore, the Agency disagrees with your view that its position would have broad implications "resulting in absurd and unconstitutional effects" as the Agency's position is based on specific facts related to the federal environmental assessments of both the Prosperity and New Prosperity projects.
