2020-03-16 – Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada must determine whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
To help inform this determination, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.
Written comments must be submitted by 2020-04-15 to the contact identified on the project page.
The Proposed Project
Nav Canada proposes to add an antenna onto an existing antenna tower structure, for aviation radar surveillance purposes, for aircraft safety. The site is located at 48°46'28.78"N, -123°10'15.37"W on Saturna Island, BC - Gulf Islands National Park Reserve of Canada. The tower may undergo periodic antenna additions or replacements.
