Public Comment Period on Intent to Make a Determination
Construct Sidewalks on Montgomery Road Phase 1, Garrison Petawawa

February 1, 2021 — The Department of National Defence must decide whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this decision, the Department of National Defence is inviting comments from the public on the project and its potential effects on the environment. All comments received will be considered public. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project

Real Properties Operations Detachment Petawawa at Garrison Petawawa is proposing the construction of a sidewalk along Montgomery Road from Centurion Road to Menin Road. The construction of this sidewalk will improve the safety of all pedestrians, troops and civilian personnel using this road.
