The Proposed Project

The work consists of dredging the sediments inside the harbor and in the channel of the port of Cap-aux-Meules, at a greater depth than during phase 1 in some areas. An area (contiguous to the channel) of approximately 10,600 m2 will be dredged to allow safe maneuvering of ships; this will be included in the current port dredging template. The works will take place during the fall of 2021.
