Notice of intent to make a determination
Gull Bay Roads Rehabilitation Project – Public Comments Invited
May 25, 2021 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Gull Bay Roads Rehabilitation Project, located in Gull Bay First Nation is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

The Proposed Project
The project will reconstruct approximately a combined total of 10 kilometers of contiguous roads on reserve including improvements or relocation of the entrance to Highway 527. The work includes resurfacing and grading, widening of roadway sections, brush clearing, ditching, sightline improvements, regulatory and warning signs, installation of approximately 43 culverts and drainage modifications.
