Visual aid remplacement - comments invited

March 30th 2022 – Transport Canada must determine whether the proposed project, located in Kuujjuaq, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Transport Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public [and may be posted online]. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The project

Transport Canada aims to carry out a project targeting the replacement of all visual aids at the Kuujjuaq airport, as well as the modifications required on certain equipment. This work is required to replace obsolete equipment that no longer meets reliability objectives.
