The Proposed Project

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project to connect 25 kilovolts of power supplied by FORTIS to building 471 Matilda Communications Tower, to meet the operational requirements of DND within Canadian Forces Base Suffield Range Training Area by providing a greener alternative to the existing use of diesel generators on site. Work will include the installation of electrical components and equipment feeding building 471.
