Sipekne'katik First Nation– Public Comments Invited
March 30, 2023, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation must determine whether the proposed 31 buildings and 50 units in Sipekne'katik First Nation is likely to cause significant adverse effects. To help inform this determination, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

The Proposed Project
Sipekne'katik First Nation is proposing to build 31 buildings and 50 units. These homes consist of a single storey building. The construction will include the building and foundation. Project activities include clearing and grubbing, the installation of access driveway, construction of foundations, backfill and grading, utilities and services including sewer and water piping as well as power and communication lines.
