Cultural Centre for Women, Girls and Two Spirited Band Members – Public Comments Invited

April 4th, 2023Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) must determine whether the proposed Cultural Centre for Women, Girls and Two Spirited Band Members, located in Kisbey, SK is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

Pheasant Rump Nakota First Nation will construct a cultural centre, to provide a space for culture, language, healing, health and traditional learning for the women, girls and Two Spirited Band members. The cultural building will be approximately 4300 square feet.
