The Proposed Project

The Ottawa International Airport Authority and Canadian North are proposing to construct a new cargo facility outside of the airfield at 145 Thad Johnson Private. The 42,646 sq ft cargo facility will allow for expanded refrigeration to safeguard perishable and temperature-sensitive shipments for Canadian North. The facility will be accessible by public road access via Thad Johnson Private and will accommodate loading docks for truck delivery and around 100 parking spots. The new facility will provide significant improvements of the transportation fluidity of goods to and from remote northern communities.
