Notice of intent to make a determination
Bunibonibee Cree Nation – 48 Unit Subdivision – Public Comments InvitedAugust 11, 2023 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Bunibonibee Cree Nation – 48 Unit Subdivision, located in Bunibonibee Cree Nation is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

The Proposed Project |
The project is to design and construct a new subdivision with 48 units on the south side of the community, between Oxford Lake and Wapisew Lake. There is a road to the community quarry that runs through the proposed project site. Activities will included clearing and grubbing, surveying, geotechnical investigation, lot grading and drainage, road construction and housing construction.
