The Proposed Project

Naicatchewenin First Nation is proposing a Culture and Learning Center Project. The building will be approximately 1,500 m2 in footprint and serviced with electricity, water/wastewater systems, internet. The proposed site for the building is in the community core and within an area designated for development. Physical activities will include site clearing, grubbing, excavation, stockpiling, and grading works. The project is well aligned with Naicatchewenin First Nation planning initiatives and goals of the community leadership, youth and elders and will address the existing gaps regarding the needs of the community's children under the Jordan's Principle.
