November 10, 2023 — The Department of National Defence must decide whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this decision, the Department of National Defence is inviting comments from the public on the project and its potential effects on the environment. The Proposed Project

The Department of National Defence (DND) is proposing a project. The project is being undertaken as the existing underground duct system has outlived its requirement and is undersized to support new trunked radio requirements of the DND 3rd Canadian Division Support Group (3CDSG) Signal Squadron. The Project will entail the supply and installation of the necessary infrastructure and assets to suit the communication needs, which will include waveguide bridge footings and a wall mounted protection box.
