December 7, 2023 — The Department of National Defence must decide whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this decision, the Department of National Defence is inviting comments from the public on the project and its potential effects on the environment. All comments received will be considered public. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. The proposed project is divided in three components, 20 Accommodation Buildings, 2 Ablution Buildings and 3 Concrete Pads. Accommodations (20 x 134(m2) buildings), Ablutions (2 x 224(m2) buildings) and 3 x Concrete Pads (800(m2),625(m2), and 1650(m2)).
