Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies Hangar Expansion - Public Comments Invited

02/08/2024 - The Saskatoon Airport Authority must determine whether the proposed Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies Hangar Expansion, located on 2404 Thayer Ave, Airport Business Area Saskatchewan, S7I 6b4 is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. 

To help inform this determination, the Saskatoon Airport Authority is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

This project involves the expansion of an existing hangar/training institute. Site preparation activities will include geo-technical studies, surveys, and environmental studies.

The Saskatoon Airport Authority permits the lease of the SIIT Hangar on its property and is therefore the lead authority on this project. 

Environmental description includes greenfield surrounded by industrial/commercial land.
