Notice of Intent to Make a Determination

Kahkewistahaw First Nation  - Mamawi Business Center - Public Comments invited

February 23, 2024 - Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Kahkewistahaw First Nation  - Mamawi Business Center, to be located on Kahkewistahaw No.72, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

Proposed Project

Kahkewistahaw First Nation is proposing the development of a new two story office building on the Kahkewistahaw Landing urban reserve development in the City of Saskatoon. The proposed building will be 24,332 sq ft. The land is already fully serviced with water, sewer and storm water infrastructure and paved roads.  This proposed project is located west of existing commercial developments.
