Hollow Water First Nation Prevention Centre – Public Comments Invited
July 12, 2024 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Prevention Centre, located in Hollow Water First Nation is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project
1985 m2 Prevention Centre Building centrally located on the south side of the adjacent band administration office parking lot. Comes with a 2,250 ft2 garage, 1,876 ft2 outdoor space and proposed 33,983 ft2 parking lot. The site has water sewer line running parellel along the band office parking lot. It will be connected to main water sewer line. The current land use of the site is as a housing material lay down area.
