Manto Sipi Cree Nation Prevention Building and Garage – Public Comments Invited

July 19, 2024 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Prevention Building and Garage, located in Manto Sipi Cree Nation is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

The purpose of this project is to facilitate the construction of a CFS Prevention Center in the community of Manto Sipi Cree Nation. Infrastructure: Graded lots, drainage, driveway and parking lot construction, overhead powerlines, water and sewer services. Activities: Clearing and grubbing, environmental site assessment, lot grading and drainage, driveway and parking lot construction, and lot development.
