Corridor Resources Inc. Exploration Well on the Old Harry Prospect - EL 1105

Gulf of St. Lawrence (NL)

February 25, 2011 (Updated April 26, 2011) -- The Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board is required to ensure that a screening is conducted pursuant to the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act commencing on February 25, 2011 in relation to the project: Corridor Resources Inc. Exploration Well on the Old Harry Prospect - EL 1105.

Corridor Resources Inc. is proposing to drill one exploration well within Exploration Licence (EL) 1105 on a subsea geological structure called Old Harry in the Newfoundland and Labrador offshore. The exploratory well is anticipated to be drilled between 2012 and 2014. Exploration wells are beneficial in evaluating the resource potential of subsea geologic structures.

An environmental assessment is required in relation to the project because the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board may take action in relation to paragraph 138(1)(b) of the Canada-Newfoundland Atlantic Accord Implementation Act.
