Highway 905 - All Weather Roadway - Stony Rapids to Lake Athabasca near Fond-du-Lac

The Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure is proposing to construct an all-weather road from Stony Rapids to the south shore of Lake Athabasca near Fond-du-Lac in northern Saskatchewan. The project includes: 88.5 kilometres of all-weather road; watercourse crossings; temporary structures, including construction roads, work camps and water withdrawal facilities; aggregate and borrow pits; and physical works and undertakings associated with fish and a fish habitat compensation plan.

December 11, 2019 – The Impact Assessment Agency of Canada terminated the environmental assessment of the project at the request of the proponent.
