Green House gas emissions

This project would contribute to climate change due to the large amount of green house gas emissions that would be released into the atmosphere by it. This will also have the side effect that it would be much more difficult for Canada to meet international greenhouse gases reduction targets. If approved the emissions produced from this project alone would be one of the highest of facility based emitters in the country. We do not need a project that emits so much green house gas within Alberta that it would cement this provinces legacy as one of the worst in Canada for greenhouse gas emissions.
