Project: Baldwin East Aerodrome Project – IAA Reference 84333 - Sutton Airport Development Ltd -
Location: Concession 5, Lot 10 & 11, otherwise known as 7818 and 7486 Old Homestead Road, Pefferlaw, Town of Georgina

Please find information and detail in support of a request for an Impact Assessment regarding Baldwin East Aerodrome in Georgina that may be useful to your considerations in the attached pdf.

Site alterations, fill dumping and construction has not yet started but may be imminent . A great urgency for an Impact Assessment designation is necessary, if possible..

Your consideration is requested under the IAA amended items 1) Wildlife Areas, 2) Migratory Birds, 4) public concern, and/or 5) at the discretion of the Minister. Please review information presented as it relates to 3) Transport

There are matters of public concern considered grave by Mayor and Council of Georgina - Local Land Use Authority, Lake Simcoe Conservation Authority, and the elected York-Simcoe MP, Pefferlaw Area Ratepayers (PAR), Chippewa of Georgina Island, local community members, adjacent registered Agro-Food Producing farm properties, affected property owners with much letter writing and a petition to Parliament underway all at this time – all opposed.

Several pages include photo observation documenting the significant wildlife and migratory bird activity photographed in the coastal and local areas taken within 4,000 meter radius zone of concentrated impact surrounding the Baldwin East Aerodrome location as evidence of the environmental significance of this location.

The massive dump-site alteration/construction activities/and aerodrome operations will impact the land, sky and water posing irreversible damage for all life in this unique habitat complex location and its surrounding area zones.

Airport activities, low flying planes from accessing airport chemicals and toxic AvGas leaded fuel, exhausts, particulates and spills will spray every aspect of this environment poisoning its rural class 1 and 2 premium soils agricultural and fishing tourism economy.

The aerodrome location is on the Lake Simcoe Basin slope to affect the creeks that drain into Lake Simcoe. The creek mouths along the critical shoreline are fish hatcheries that feed and stock the lake for birds and fish tourism.

The photo pages were not all purposed to this information, but perhaps the info may be useful in some way so have included random excerpted pages.
I don't have any more time to recompose and repurpose them, or further edits.

Note that all properties west of Park Road/ Sibbald Provincial Park as central coastal Georgina are exclusively on drilled or dug wells; they rely on the surface, recharge and aquifer for water - entirely. This includes all regional farms, all Virginia Hamlet, all of Duclos Point and all of Pefferlaw - the areas under consideration. There are no municipal services at any of locations east of Park Road.  The region is designated as a highly vulnerable aquifer, where it opens up near the surface, with a high perched water table, and significant ecologically significant groundwater recharge areas. It is the source water that the communities, and the health of the environment rely, and must protect from contaminants. .

Thank you for any assistance, your urgent consideration or any reply is appreciated.
