Pigeon River Drilled Well Groundwater Supply

Design and construct for (2) new 15,000 litre potable water tanks (to be installed underground) for purposes of supplying potable water to the facility. Provide new waterproof tub and isolated lid, as well as new culvert complete with hinged and locking cover. Connect potable water piping complete with insulation, heat trace, isolation valving and check valves though tub wall and route piping through trench to existing water treatment building in close proximity.  Excavation required to native subgrade, and backfill using excavated fill and clear stone as  required to provide 3:1 grading to native sub-grade, finished with topsoil and sod. Project also includes re-configuring the existing cistern for firefighting water use.

February 14, 2024 – The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
