Enoch Nation Embers Addition to River Cree Casino & Hotel

Enoch Cree Nation is constructing a single story 2,098 sq ft addition to the River Cree Casino and Hotel in an existing parking lot area immediately north of the casino. As part of the work additional parking spaces will be placed on the west side of the building, an existing waterline will be redirected, and new catch basins and storm sewer lines will be installed west of the existing resort and casino. New sanitary sewer lines will be tied into existing lines and electrical systems will be extended from the existing casino.


Latest update

April 30, 2024 – Indigenous Services Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting public comments Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (iaac-aeic.gc.ca) until May 30, 2024 respecting the determination.
