Lourdes-de-Blanc-Sablon Airport - Demolition and reconstruction of a hangar

The project consists of deconstructing the current hangar located on site and constructing a new building to replace it with a larger surface area. The work will include the dismantling of the structure, the preparation of the site, the excavation for a foundation wall and the installation of a septic tank. The works are scheduled for June 2021 to the end of September 2021.

June 8th 2021 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Transport Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. .
