St. Anthony - Floating Dock Storage

DFO, Real Property Safety Security (RPSS) intends to construct a floating dock storage area at the Search and Rescue (SAR) station located in St. Anthony, NL. The proposed project will include the removal of existing armour and filter stone from slope to be extended and reinstates on a new slope. The area will be levelled with rock and gravel. Stone required for the project will be obtained from an approved quarry and trucked to the site. Heavy equipment consisting primarily of excavators and dump trucks will be utilized to complete the project.

March 14, 2024 – The authorities issued their Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
