Brucejack Gold Mine Project

Newcrest Mining Ltd. is proposing the construction, operation and decommissioning of a gold-silver underground mine located approximately 65 kilometres north of Stewart, British Columbia. The proposed project would produce about 18.5 million tonnes of mineralized material at an average rate of 3,800 tonnes per day over a minimum 14-year mine life.

Latest update

August 3, 2017 - The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency issued an Order to the proponent on July 21, 2017, regarding certain conditions set out in the Environmental Assessment Decision Statement. This Order supersedes the Order issued on June 20, 2017.
