Madawaska Phase II Subdivision Development

The project will include the construction of a 21 lot subdivision located in Madawaska, with a project footprint of approximately 10 hectares. The subdivision will be connected to municipal services (water mains and sewers). Activities include clearing and grubbing, topsoil stripping, excavation, rock removal, trenching excavation for infrastructure including sanitary, storm and potable water pipes as well as sanitary and storm manholes and storm catch basins. Activities will also include road construction including gravel structure, asphalt paving, site grading, erosion and sediment control installation and surface water diversion.


Latest update

July 19, 2024 – Indigenous Services Canada to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting public comments until August 19, 2024, respecting that determination.
