Ahtahkakoop South Subdivision Phase 1

Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation is proposing a new 35 lot subdivision to support continued community growth. The proposed size of the Project Area is approximately 5.0 ha and will be serviced with pressured water, gravity sewer, gravel roadways, gas, power and communication. Individual lot sizes are proposed to be 30m x 60m. The project activities include: surveying, tree clearing, topsoil stripping, common excavation, compaction, installation of mains, construction of roads, installation of culverts, and building services. The proposed subdivision is located south of the existing housing area and the unnamed lake.

February 26, 2024 - Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of determination Notice of Determination for the Ahatahkakoop South Subdivision Phase I (iaac-aeic.gc.ca) and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
