Transmission Main from Chlorine Building to West Link Road

Project consists of replacing existing water lines to provide a new waterline transmission. The scope of project includes the replacement of existing DUI water lines to with new PVC water lines. The project aims to provide a more dependable water transmission to the residents, over the past several years the town has had numerous waterline breaks and this has left the town in a very vulnerable position where there has been no water available and little to no water pressure.


Latest update

February 3, 2023 - Infrastructure Canada has confirmed with Parks Canada that the project will not be occuring on federal lands and therefore will not require an assessment under the Impact Assessment Act..
