Emergency Dredging, Trout River, NL

DFO, Small Craft Harbours intends to re-dredge the harbour basin at the Trout River SCH. The scope of work for this project involves removal of approximately 4,500m3 of dredge material from the river extending outwards along the northern shoreline of Trout River into the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Fisheries and Oceans Canada- Small Craft Harbours (DFO-SCH) intends to make a determination regarding whether carrying out the proposed project, located at the Small Craft Harbours site in Trout River, NL is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, DFO-SCH is inviting public comments in respect to that determination for 30 days following the posting of this notice.
