Shoreline Protection, St. Bride's, NL

DFO, Small Craft Harbour intends to repair and refurbish the shoreline protection at the St. Bride's SCH site. The scope of work for this project involves the demolition and removal of an existing concrete slab on grade lauchway. Excavation, salvage and re-use of existing filter stone and armour stone. Supply and installation of new geotextile, filter stone, armour stone and infill material combined with salvaged material for the installation of new shoreline protection in various areas within harbour basin.

March 14, 2024 – The authorities issued their Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
