DFO-SCH New Marginal Wharf and Floating Docks, Hickman's Harbour, NL

DFO, Small Craft Harbours are proposing to construct a new marginal wharf in Hickman's Harbour, Newfoundland. The new timber crib wharf will have a footprint of approximately 4.8m wide by 24.4m long, with a reinforced concrete deck. Some minor excavation and dredging will be required to create a stable slope for the marginal wharf. Two floating docks will be anchored from the new structure via gangway. Filter stone material will be used as protection around the perimeter of the structure.
