Upgrading and refurbishing a wastewater treatment plant on the Lac Simon reserve

Over the past few years, the community has grown steadily to around 2,000 inhabitants, and by all indications, will continue to grow over the next few years. To support this growth, the community wishes to upgrade and refurbish the wastewater treatment plant, as this facility is reaching its design limits in terms of flows and contaminant loads to be treated. It is therefore necessary to increase the treatment capacity of this facility by building a new aerated lagoon and pumping station to complement the refurbishment of the wastewater treatment plant.
