Relocation of the Domestic Outfall of the Mingan Wastewater Treatment Plant

The project consists of the relocation of the existing domestic outfall. To do so, the domestic outfall will be connected to the existing rainwater outfall at a distance of approximately 1000m from the current discharge point. A pipe will therefore be installed in the right-of-way of Highway 138 over a distance of 830 m. Crossing under Highway 138 to connect to the outfall will also be required as part of the work.

Latest update

September 23rd 2020 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
