Increase in wastewater treatment capacity (aerated lagoon system) in Ekuanitshit

The project consists of increasing the capacity of the wastewater treatment plant through the addition of an aerated lagoon with an approximate volume of 3,700 m³, to be developed on the west side of the existing treatment plant.

The main works planned as part of the project include:

  • clearing, stump removal, removal of waste materials, and excavation and backfilling work required for site preparation;
  • construction of the lagoon dikes;
  • waterproofing of the lagoon;
  • installation of piping and backfilling;
  • grading of access roads and installation of a security fence.
