Kasabonika Lake New 7 - 12 school

The project is a new school for Grade 7-12 with a floor area of 3,000 square meters.  The building will include a gym, stage/cafeteria, music/MPR, library, classrooms, and administration and support spaces.  The site will include a multi-purpose athletic field, granular pathways, parking lot and access roads off the main road as well as from the road leading to the dump.  Approximately 22,170 square meters of the site area will be seeded with grass mixes.

July 7, 2020 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of determination https://iaac-aeic.gc.ca/050/evaluations/document/135306 and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. .
