Big Grassy First Nation will construct a new wood-framed building to be used as a safe space for language and cultural programming, and which will include a gathering and healing area. The building will be 4,055 square feet (376.70 sq. m).

Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
