Wabigoon Lake Water Treatment System Expansion

Wabigoon Lake First Nation proposes to expand the water treatment plant and below ground reservoir; replace raw water intake screen; extend and replace water distribution piping; restore the road; and repair raw the raw water barrel, culverts, and air release chamber.

July 31, 2024 – Indigenous Services Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting public comments until August 31, 2024 respecting that determination.
