Witset Youth Healing Lodge Project

Witset First Nation will construct a youth healing lodge to provide a safe and accessible healing space for Wet'suwet'en and other Indigenous youth from Northern BC. The healing lodge, located in Witset, will be a new 2-storey wood framed building with a gross floor area of 4,204.8 square feet.


Latest update

May 3, 2023 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
