Mahikan Street Extension - Industrial Park Area

The project consists of the extension of Mahikan Street for 2,27 km and the construction of a retention pond (30,6 ha) to manage runoff from an intermittent stream. This pond will be of ecological importance, particularly for migratory bird habitats.

March 25, 2021- The public comment period on the project is closed. Indigenous Services Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on  whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
