Dry fire Hydrant in range and training areas - Valcartier Military Base Range and Training Area

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. The goal of the project is to install a dry fire hydrant on the bridge crossing the Petite Rivière aux Pins. The dry fire hydrant will allow firetrucks to fill their tanks during emergencies.

May 26, 2024 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The Department of National Defence is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
