Site redevelopment of the ecocenter in Wemotaci

Work to be carried out includes :

  • Addition of fire hydrant
  • Connection to existing water and sewer system
  • Complete reorganization of the site, management of contaminated soil
  • Repair and addition of perimeter fencing to permanently secure the site
  • Profiling of ditches
  • Excavation and site preparation (new foundation structure)
  • New concrete structure for roll-off containers
  • Concrete slab for all waste storage
  • New power supply and lighting

Latest update

June 20th, 2024 – Indigenous Services Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting public comments until July 20th, 2024 respecting that determination.
