Gaz Bar at Jean Lesage International Airport of Quebec

The project involves the construction of a gas bar with a convenience store, restaurant and car wash on mixed land (lawn and woodland) at the corner of Airport Road and 8th Avenue Airport, in the Quebec City.

The target audience is passengers, citizens and car rental services.

Plot surface area: 8088,8 m2

Building area: 279 m2

Area of car wash: 158 m2

YQB wants to develop the commercial potential of its land assets in partnership with dealers. The Concessionaire shall develop the Concession on the parcel of land provided for this purpose on the Airport Road and leased from YQB, in compliance with all federal, provincial and municipal environmental laws and regulations.

The purpose of the project is:

Provide high quality products and a high level of customer service;
Maximize the choice of products offered to different customer segments and to the population;
Maximize sales
Show competitive prices for consumers;
Provide a friendly, efficient and competent staff.
The project will be located on a partially landscaped lot (lawn and wooded) bordered by the Airport Road, to the northeast, the 8th Avenue South-East Airport and 9th Street South-West Airport.

November 3, 2020 - Québec Airport Authority has determined that the project is not likely to have significant adverse environmental impacts.

Mitigation measures will be taken for the following elements: vegetation, dust, residual materials. These measures are detailed as follows: planting of trees, dust suppression, recycling of construction waste.
