Fence Repair and Installation -Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) Suffield

The Department of National Defence (DND) is proposing a project which involves the repair of damaged fences at 9 sites. Activities will include replacement of damaged posts, re-attachment and /or tightening of barb wire as well as the removal of razor wire, and damaged non-reusable materials. New wildlife friendly fences will be installed at 4 sites for a total of less than 2500m of new fencing.


Latest update

September 25, 2021 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The Department of National Defence is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
