Siksika Police Headquarters Project

Siksika Nation is proposing to construct a police headquarters building on Siksika Reserve Lands. The proposed police headquarters will be located next to the existing Siksika Nation Fire and EMS building. The project will be comprised of a 2274m2 building along with a parking lot, an access road, lighting, utility lines, and fencing. The total project area will be 9804m2. Proposed project activities include clearing, excavation, filling, compaction, grading, trenching, building construction, and landscaping.

End of Public Comment Period

December 8, 2025 - The public period on the project is closed. Indigenous Services Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
