FortisAlberta 123 Banff Avenue Cable Installation

FortisAlberta proposes installing a new service cable at 123 Banff Avenue. The new cable will be trenched approximately 34m from an existing transformer to the building. No vegetation removal is required. A short outage may be required to complete the work. The project is planned for September 2024 and will take two days to complete.

Latest update

August 12, 2024 – Parks Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Parks Canada is inviting public comments until September 11, 2024 respecting that determination.
